Lockheed P-3B “Orion”

The Orion replaced the P-2 Neptune and included an impressive array of antisubmarine warfare technology, avionics, and weapons. The first version of this aircraft entered service in 1962. The Museum acquired the aircraft in 2011 and moved it to the Restoration facility in April 2013.

After a complete exterior restoration and painting project, the P-3 Orion #154574 was returned to the museum display area June 2020. This aircraft loan courtesy of the National Naval Aviation Museum at Pensacola, Florida.
