Estate Planning & IRA Distributions
Consider this tax-free option when making a gift to the Delaware Valley Historical Aircraft Association (DVHAA) Wings of Freedom Aviation Museum
A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is a direct transfer from an IRA custodian to a qualified 501c3 public charity. When completed properly, a QCD can satisfy all or part of your Required Minimum Distribution without increasing your taxable income. For the most current guidance, please consult the IRS at www.irs.gov or speak with a professional tax advisor.
The DVHAA Wings of Freedom Aviation Museum is a 501c3 organization eligible to receive QCD contributions. To ensure compliance, the IRA custodian must issue the check directly to the DVHAA; donors should not take possession of the funds or substitute a personal check if they intend to use the QCD provision.
Upon receipt, the DVHAA will provide an acknowledgment letter for your record.
Thank you for considering a contribution to the Wings of Freedom Aviation Museum.
