Lockheed P-80C / TV-1 “Shooting Star”
This aircraft is one of the oldest in the Museum’s collection.
Built in the late 1940s, the Navy received this aircraft in 1948 when the Navy had 50 Air Force P-80Cs transferred to Navy control.
This aircraft then served in multiple states until it arrived and remained at NAS Willow Grove until it was retired. The DVHAA restored the aircraft from 2003 to 2005.
