Bell UH-1V Iroquois “Huey”
The Army received over 3,500 of these aircrafts for a variety of uses including medical evacuation like our aircraft.
The Huey has become a legendary and a popular icon for its loyal multi-role service throughout the Vietnam War.
The aircraft on display entered service in 1968 and served until the 1990s. The Museum acquired the aircraft in the 1990’s and restored it in 2001.
