Bell H-13G “Sioux”
Initially built as a civilian aircraft; the Model 47. The Army requested Bell Helicopters to militarize the aircraft; thereby creating the H-13G.
The aircraft’s first combat operations took place in Korea and became known for its role in medical evacuations to M*A*S*H units; as immortalized in the M*A*S*H TV series! Restored by the Museums Restoration Team at the Carson Helicopter Facility with Carson Employee’s kind and generous help. |
